RepairGal

This Warranty Policy ("Policy") applies to all services performed and systems sold by RepairGal ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By leaving your equipment with us or purchasing equipment from us, you ("Client," "you") agree to be bound by the following terms.
The Client acknowledges that accurate diagnosis and safe handling are essential to our service. The Client agrees to disclose all known issues, defects, and history of the system at the time the service order is created. This includes, but is not limited to, prior repair attempts, liquid damage, software tampering, or environmental exposure. Failure to provide honest and complete information may result in misdiagnosis, increased costs, or limitations on warranty coverage as detailed in Section 6.2.
All sales of consoles, parts, accessories, and services are final. RepairGal does not accept returns and does not issue full refunds. Partial refunds may be issued solely at the discretion of RepairGal management in extenuating circumstances.
In lieu of returns or refunds, the Client's sole and exclusive remedy for any issue with the system or service is the repair or replacement coverage explicitly outlined in Section 4 (The One (1) Year Full Warranty) of this Agreement. RepairGal is committed to resolving covered issues through service, not reimbursement.
Duration: Twelve (12) months from the date of original invoice/completion.
If a Shop-Originated System fails during the warranty period due to a defect in materials, workmanship, or unexpected hardware failure, RepairGal will, at its sole discretion:
This warranty covers only the specific component(s) replaced and the specific labor performed as listed on the original invoice.
EXCLUSION OF SHIPPING: This warranty is "Back-to-Base" (RTB).
This Warranty does not apply to failure or damage resulting from: Physical/Accidental Damage (drops, liquid); Use of unauthorized third-party software/firmware; or Tampering with the RepairGal Warranty Seal/Sticker.
We maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
After the expiration of the 1-Year Full Warranty, Shop-Originated Systems are eligible for our Lifetime Discounted Service Rate.
This Lifetime Offer and any other warranty under this policy is transferable to subsequent owners of the system provided that:
If the sticker is broken or the serial number is defaced, the Lifetime Offer and any other warranty under this policy is null and void, and standard shop rates apply.
Labor fees for any repair on a qualifying Shop-Originated System will be billed at a flat rate equal to the General Minimum Wage of the Province of Ontario at the time the service request is reported.
The Client remains responsible for the retail cost of any new parts required to complete the post-warranty repair. These parts will be quoted for approval before labor begins.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE ONTARIO LAW, REPAIRGAL'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT OR A PARTIAL REFUND OF THE ORIGINAL SERVICE FEE AT MANAGEMENT'S SOLE DISCRETION. REPAIRGAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF SAVED GAME DATA OR LOSS OF USE OF THE CONSOLE.
Client acknowledges that repair of video game consoles inherently carries a risk of data loss or factory reset. It is the Client's sole responsibility to back up game save data to the cloud or external storage before submitting the device for warranty service. Out of courtesy and professional care, RepairGal will always do our best to recover or prevent data loss during the repair process. However, due to the unpredictable nature of hardware failure and repair procedures, RepairGal cannot guarantee the preservation of data and is not liable for any lost game progress, user profiles, or settings.
To obtain service under this Policy, the Client may contact us through either of the following methods:
Upon approval, you will receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Package the system securely with the RMA number written on the outside of the box. Devices sent without an RMA number may be refused.
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
